really good stuff but i am thinking one think is missing
if you watch the video you can think that you only get netsu on TA moves.
you dont cover that netsu can activate on damage over all he gets
and isnt there differences between teams?

Yes, good points we forgot to cover, I’ll annotate that in.

question, can the analogue stick be used as a tag button like in the old Tekken Tag or does it have to be a shoulder button?

Sorry if u said it in the vid but how to you tag crash?

    1. Rip

Your tag partner has to have netsu ready (white life bar flashing) and your point character must be on the ground. Then you hit 2+5 (right punch + tag) to execute Tag Crash

How do you think having tag being set to R1 will affect pad players that generally play “claw”? It souns very uncomfortable and could lead to mass amounts of button changes for every match in tournaments. Thoughts?

    1. Rip

I play “claw” and for now I’ve been using R1 for tag. It is definitely an issue for me. Not sure what I’ll do in the long run yet. As to button changing every match in tournament, I hope not, but its not something I feel is predictable at this time.

Really incredible explanation of the system. Makes me feel like I can pick up Tag 2 day one when it finally hits consoles and I’ll be right at home. The production value of these videos keeps getting better. Really nice job of editing and keeping the flow going. LUYG would be the first website I’d recommend to anyone trying to get better at Tekken. Keep up the good work!

Absolutely wonderful video, thanks guys. Just wanted to know if their is any tag cancel that we used to have back in TTT1?

    1. Rip

Tag cancel from TTT1 is not in this game. Its my understanding that tag cancel was an unintended bug in the original. Supposedly you can attack faster when coming in now, however its nowhere near as safe or as good of an option as tag cancelling was.
