A new video trailer has been posted to on Gamespot’s website regarding 4 characters returning to Tekken Tag 2 for the console release. The video shows brief snippets of Michelle Chang, Angel, “Ancient” Ogre and Kunimitsu. Why they are calling him “ancient”, I don’t know … I’m sure “true” ogre is the same ‘age’ as the “ancient” version. hah

Regarding the whole ‘DLC’ thing. Presumably the characters are/will be done by release (How different are Angel and Ogre really going to be?) so the only reason I can come up with for them being DLC would be for them to be a Pre-order incentive that will be released as free DLC after a month or so.
But shoutouts to Namco for including all of the characters that people have been begging for since Facebook became a thing. Shall we take bets on how long it will take for people to be begging for Miharu and P.Jack? I give it 16 hours

I’m willing to bet they will be released and balanced in arcades during the 1-2 month time period just before console release. With versions like BR and TTT2U, namco obviously knows the importance of the arcade balancing process before console release. They won’t be able to add anything during those 1-2 months before console release, so DLC is the only way to go and ensure that they’re arcade balanced.Either that, or they’re hiding even more surprises. O_o
