NetherRealm Studios just released the DLC reveal trailer for Scorpion. Looks like most of Scorpion’s moves from Mortal Kombat 9 remains intact. Not only does Scorpion have a cool new costume made by Jim Lee from DC Comics, the trailer also shows off a Superman zombie skin that were not familiar with yet. Scorpion will be priced $4.99 or 400 MS points. Also, at the end is a clip from a much requested DLC character.. looks like he’s coming after all!

Holy crap, I just realized at the end they show a preview of another DLC character that hasn’t been officially announced
Yeah, the one everyone wants :O

Fuckkkkkkkkkkkk Yessssssssssss
Prise the space owl, oh and yes the space owls waiting for more TTT2 tutorials!
duh fck scorpion? xD
Not gonna lie, Scorpion just bumped Injustice a few spots up my priority list. I really like the direction they went, aesthetically and gameplay-wise.
i saw martian manhunter at the end of the video O: it’s a TEASER OMG OMG OMG they better put him in the game and i am gonna start buying the DLC
Rumor is Martian Manhunter is the second season pass, so you might wanna save your money if you don’t want characters from the first season pass
But to be honest, all you need to play the game is deathstroke.
no i ought to save my money for a different game 🙂 DLC destroys a good game and since this is leaked information its probably Disk locked content. I am trading my copy in because i know where this is headed CAPCOM STYLE- Complete edition and here i was pumped for Martian sigh
Disc locked content saves you from long downloads and makes things easier. Them putting the DLC on-disc isn’t “Capcom-Style.” It pretty common.
Besides, if they didn’t want it out from the start, it doesn’t matter where they store the data for future release. It’s not like they made a huge roster, then locked half of it for more money. They were probably planned as DLC from the get-go.
it’s*
true about that but at the same time is it always necessary to charge for them? I believed that tekken set a good example on how DLC should be handled. Characters are like chess pieces if you are missing some while other have them it’s kinda unfair and in some cases a disadvantage. So letting these vital points to a video game be bought is kinda a wallet buster IMO. Now costumes and stuff of that nature being charged is fine i would buy eventually but charging for characters always made me cringe
