Here are a couple more videos of Tekken Tag 2 Unlimited I took from the Amusement Expo in Las Vegas last week. As I explained previously, there weren’t many competitive players around, so I ended up playing against the computer a bit. Ran through the game with Paul then Law in solo mode. Check out the matches below, Paul and a bunch of deathfists after the jump:
Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Unlimited is playable at the Las Vegas Amusement Expo. I got some hands on time with the game and got some of my questions answered by the Namco staff there. Unfortunately as this is more of a trade show than a public event I didn’t get a lot of really competitive play but came away with a good understanding of what separates this game from the original version of Tekken Tag Tournament 2.
Recently at the UK Fight Club for Street Fighter x Tekken, Tekken Force got the opportunity to interview Harada and Ono. This is not your typical interview and I really wish that Harada had answered the last question legit! Also, for those of you wondering, our first SFxT FightStick PRO stick giveaway winner will be announced later today so stay tuned to the site to see if you won
ArcadeHeroes is reporting that Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Unlimited will be at Amusement Expo 2012 and that this indicates that it will have a USA arcade release. The 3 day event will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada between March 14 and 16. Its hard to say if ArcadeHeroes is making an assumption or if their report is on good authority but I have yet to receive official confirmation one way or another. Having the location tests a few months ago and now having the game featured at a USA arcade expo seems like a good sign of things to come though. Will update this post if I hear anything new.
The trailer for Tekken Unlimited has been released! Hopefully there will be an english version released as well, but for now here’s the Japanese version. Green life bars, 2v2, 1v2, 1v1, pair play, and I assume balance changes. LOL @ 1 man team barrier break. Not sure what to think of it yet because a Tekken Tag Tournament in 1v1.. sounds like a not Tekken Tag Tournament. Added a bunch of pics after the jump
