MrWizard just announced the Evolution 2013 lineup on WakeupSRK. He said that running six games made Evo2012 run too late last year, so… with that being said, this year there will be 8 games! Thats ridiculous and I love it lol. To try to space it out, they’re moving some of the finals to Saturday so for Sunday Finals there will only be five games. The list of games for Evolution 2013 is as follows:
– Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3
– Super Street Fighter 4: Arcade Edition 2012
– Tekken Tag Tournament 2
– Mortal Kombat 9
– Street Fighter x Tekken v2013 – 1 vs 1 (Wiz has new info on Gems, so no announcement about new rules for it)
– King of Fighters XIII
– Persona 4:Arena
– ??? PLAYERS CHOICE ???

Catch for PLAYERS CHOICE is as follows to help make the vote more legit. VOTE via donation! Evo2k13 is supporting breast cancer, so any games that had 500 votes or higher from the previous poll is eligible. Whichever game raises the most money will have their game featured. (the list of potential games include: Injustice, SSB:Melee, Skullgirls, PS:AllStars, VF5:FS, GGXX, SC5, DOA5, ST, Divekick, BB:CP, MeltyBlood, MLP:Fighting is Magic)
The Road to Evo will be cut down in the USA to only 4 events. Seeding points will be given to top 16, not just Top 8 though. The events for the road to Evo are: Socal Regionals, Norcal Regionals, UFGT, CEO
Unfortunately, Final Round will NOT be a part of the Road to Evo this year. Also, since running 8 finals in one day would be too much, this year Evo’s Sunday will be 5 games as always. However, three of the finals will be on Saturday!
