TTT2 Online Tourney – 1st Tekken Subreddit Tournament – Top 4

by Rip

Earlier tonight the top 4 of the first Tekken subreddit online TTT2 tournament took place. MYK and I did commentary as Reave004 joined us to help run the event. Thanks to everyone for participating and hope you enjoyed watching. There is a small interview with Reave004 in the beginning of the video that talks a little about the subreddit and how he plans to organize future tournaments. Good stuff to everyone who qualified in the top 4. You can see the final Challonge bracket here.

Morning Bread & Butter – TTT2 – Lili Tutorial – with Kane!

by Rip

Finally! I got Kane on the show to cover Lili for Tekken Tag Tournament 2 (and we also throw in some Tekken Revolution tidbits in when necessary). This is a pretty long episode, so sorry for that, but at the end of it Kane does go over some cool okizeme options that even veteran TTT2 Lili players will probably want to take a look at. Be sure to follow our twitch channel to catch future tutorials live and follow Kane on twitch/twitter as well! BTW, MYK will be back for the next tutorial!

LDMaxi Talks with JDCR – TTT2

by Rip

LDMaxi has been on vacation back in Korea and recently had a long conversation with JDCR. This isn’t a interview per se, but its a cool chat with one of the top Tekken players in the world, JDCR. If you don’t remember LDmaxi, he used to upload the Gosu Tekken videos recorded from Green Arcade a few years ago and sometimes Aris and I used to commentate on them. Check out his cool interview below. Listening to this, I can say that I really miss LDMaxi content and I love that JDCR speaks english so well:

Rich “FilthieRich” Bantegui Announces His Departure from Namco Bandai Games

by Rip

Today on Facebook, Rich “FilthieRich” Bantegui announced his departure from Namco Bandai. Rich has been the Community Manager since just after the MLG 2010 season for Tekken 6 came to an end and has basically been with Namco through the development and release of TTT2. It was definitely nice having someone from within the fighting game community be represented within the corporate walls of Namco Bandai and Rich has left some big shoes to be filled.

Here is his announcement in its entirety (very well written and I think everyone involved in their gaming community should read it):
